It wasn't looking all-glittery for Chelsea in the first half as Man United were the better bunch, the Blues were clearly missing Reece James as they struggled to string passes together, it became a bit better when Graham Potter made a tactical substitution during the half-hour mark taking off Marc Cucurella and bringing on Mateo Kovacic - switching from 3-4-3 to 4-3-3. Kovacic brought some level of stability to the Chelsea midfield. They could have easily been punished before Kovacic came on if Man United took their chances.
Kepa Arizabalaga was called to action on several occasions and his goal could have been breached only if Man United took their chances, Kepa forced two saves from Marcus Rashford, Antony Santos also did well in testing the Goalkeeper, he could have opened scoring when Manchester United broke off on a counter attack but his right-footed shot was just off target.

Chelsea could have also gone ahead if a few of their attacking players like Aubameyang and Sterling rose to the occasion, they just couldn't convert the few chances they had.
As the game approached the hour mark, Man United made some changes, Raphael Varane was taken off injured and agonizingly went off in tears as it appears he would likely miss the World cup. He was replaced by Harry Maguire. Fred and McTominay were also brought on in a tactical switch.

The deadlock was soon broken when McTominay pulled Armando Broja in the box resulting to a penalty for the hosts, Jorginho made no mistake in dispatching the given penalty to give Chelsea a 1-0 lead in the 86th minute, Chelsea thought they were getting their fifth Clean sheet on the bounce, little did they know about what United had in store for them.

For the remaining part of the game, Chelsea had all the defensive work to do to seal off the victory, Manchester United kept on exerting pressure, Chelsea kept on rebuffing, but it was only a matter of minutes before United got the equalizer. Casemiro latched on a header to a Luke Shaw cross only to see his effort parried by Kepa Arizabalaga, luckily for him and Man United, Kepa's effort wasn't strong enough to parry the shot away from goal as the ball slightly crossed the line before Kepa stretched back to get it.
Casemiro's late goal ensured United extended their unbeaten run to six matches in all competitions, while Chelsea are yet to lose under new boss Graham Potter as his unbeaten streak now extends to eight games.
